About me.

Hi, I’m Sharon.

I’ve been working in weddings and events for over eight years now, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else. There’s something really special about being trusted with one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life — and I don’t take that lightly.

Before launching Celebrate with Sharon, I worked as a recruiter in the tech industry. That experience shaped so much of how I approach wedding planning today. I’m naturally detail-oriented, highly organized, and genuinely love working with people. Managing timelines, personalities, logistics, and big emotions? That’s my comfort zone.

My style leans modern and trend-forward, but never at the expense of timelessness. I care deeply about creating weddings that feel elevated, intentional, and completely reflective of you — not just what’s popular on Pinterest. At the end of the day, it’s about designing a celebration that feels effortless, personal, and unforgettable.

As a wedding planner, I believe that every wedding is a unique celebration, deserving of a fresh perspective and a tailored approach. I am dedicated to ensuring that each couple's special day is as distinctive and memorable as they are. Rather than treating weddings as just another event, I view each one as an opportunity to create a bespoke experience that reflects the couple's individual love story and vision. My commitment is to bring creativity, passion, and meticulous attention to detail to every wedding, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

When I’m not deep into planning or executing an event, you can find me throwing clay behind a potter’s wheel, hosting a dinner party, or sipping coffee at my favorite coffee shop in the city.

Currently based in New York City and previously in Seattle, I’m happy to plan your wedding wherever you’re based.
